Terms of Service

Effective date: July 16, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Publot, the AI-powered social media management platform available at https://publot.app ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Publot lets you connect your social media accounts, generate content with AI, schedule posts, run content automations, and publish to the platforms you connect. Features may change as the product evolves.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and old enough to hold accounts on the platforms you connect.

3. Connected platforms

  • By connecting a social account, you authorize Publot to act on your behalf on that platform — including publishing content you create or schedule — using the platform's official APIs.
  • Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform's own terms (for example TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and Meta's Platform Terms). You are responsible for complying with them.
  • You can disconnect a platform at any time, which stops all Publot activity on it.

4. Your content and responsibilities

  • You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or publish through Publot. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and publish it as you direct.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you publish, including having the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any material it contains — such as video, music, or clips sourced from third parties.
  • You may not use the Service for content or activity that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or that violates the policies of a connected platform.

5. AI-generated content

AI outputs can be inaccurate or imperfect. Review generated content before publishing. You are responsible for anything you choose to publish, including AI-generated material.

6. Plans, credits, and payment

  • Paid plans and credit packs are billed through our payment providers. Credits are consumed by generation and automation features as shown in the product.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and unused credits expire when your account closes.
  • We may change pricing with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

7. Acceptable use

  • No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • No spam, platform manipulation, or automated abuse of connected platforms.
  • No reselling of the Service without our written agreement.

8. Termination

You may stop using Publot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users. Upon termination we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, publishing success on third-party platforms, or specific results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date; material changes will be notified in the product or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
