Publot ("Publot", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered social media management platform that helps you create, schedule, and publish content to social platforms you connect. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Publot at https://publot.app, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash) when you register.
• Connected social accounts. When you connect a social account (such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or Telegram) through that platform's official authorization flow, we receive and store your platform user ID, username, profile picture, and the OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to act on your behalf. We never receive or store your social media passwords.
• Content and media. The posts, captions, images, and videos you create, upload, or generate with our AI tools, and content you instruct us to fetch from public sources.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we receive transaction records (plan, amount, status) but never your full card details.
• Usage data. Log and device data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to improve the product.

2. How we use your information

• To operate Publot: create, schedule, and publish content to the social accounts you connect, when you tell us to.
• To generate content with AI on your instructions (prompts and relevant brand context are sent to our AI processing providers).
• To maintain your account, process payments, and provide support.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content or your connected accounts' data to advertise to third parties.

3. Data from connected platforms

Data received from platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram through their official APIs is used only to provide the features you request — for example, publishing a video to your TikTok account or reading your recent posts to learn your brand voice. Our use of data received from each platform complies with that platform's developer terms and policies. Access tokens are stored securely and are used solely to perform the actions you authorize.

4. Sharing

We share data only with:

• The social platforms you connect, to publish and manage content on your behalf.
• Service providers that host and power Publot — cloud hosting, database, file storage, AI model providers, and payment processors — each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Authorities, if required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

• Disconnecting a social account in Publot deletes its stored access tokens. You can also revoke Publot's access at any time from the platform's own settings (for example, TikTok's "Manage app permissions").
• You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us; we will delete it within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted storage for credentials and tokens, and access controls limiting who and what can read your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information at every layer.

7. Children

Publot is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and notify you of material changes.
